The man leading the horses is Stan Davren, his daughter, Lynn is one of the girls on horseback.

hi there .... if this is Lynne Davern ... then the 2 boys are Stephen and Colin.... I was in schoolwith them all in the 60's

Happy memories. In 1966 I was posted to Inverinan Forest as an Assistant Forester, under Donnie MacCaskill. Stan Davren was in my 'squad' then.

Knew Don McAskill well .. we wrote a few boooks on wildlife etc.. We were across the loch at Eredine .. Father was head forester there,

As a volunteer I load images onto this web site. I have just came across all the comments on the horse video from Dalavich. I see that some of you are very familiar with the area and knew Don MacCaskill. I have just been given some of Don's forestry photograph collection to place on the web site but have absolutely no information on it and I am not familiar with the Lochawe area. I have been emailing Duncan Macdougall, Inverinan, and he is helping out with some photographs but more help always appreciated on Eredine and Inverinate images as well. Some have been added recently and you may need to search using the forest names.

Stan was my dad's friend. His name Joe Mchugh. We lived up in Dalavich. Stan also had video footage of sports and gala days plus many more. I'm Joanne Mchugh, my sister is Kathleen and we were friends of Lynn but we all lost touch over the years . I would love to hear from her again .
