Balblair Forest Planting Map — Gledfield Wood
The maps are courtesy of North Highland Forest District, Golspie which were photographed by Norman Davidson.
A single woodland map showing the spread out acquisition around Gledfield, Ardgay with compartment numbers 574 – 577 and planted in 1962. The compartment numbers have been altered by adding 500 as the result of amalgamation around 1967 of Balblair and Craigs with possibly Shin forest. Again Scots pine features strongly in this area.
