Felling larch - Allean or Strathyre Forests

No information so far on this photograph but is very likely to be in Allean or Strathyre forest areas and appears to show a feller with chainsaw discussing the job with a forester. The attached PDF shows young trees growing under some very large larch (possibly 80-100 years old), the feller with a Stihl saw cutting into the tree and tree falling.
The larch trees are of superb quality and have been well managed over a very long rotation pointing to planting around 1870 – 1890 or even earlier. The under storey of young trees could be natural growth and definitely includes larch and birch but there looks to be Norway spruce and possibly Douglas fir or Grand fir which could indicate hand planting.
Any information on this site, the location, the forester and feller could be would be very welcome. Check out the large image and the PDF.
Jim McIntyre has suggested the forester looks a bit like Dave Tracy and the site could be at Dunkeld. Any thoughts on this or other suggestions?
