Photograph taken by Don MacCaskill and image courtesy of Bridget MacCaskill, Strathyre. Don was based as Head Forester at Inverinan from about 1960 through to 1968 before transferring initially to Allean Forest and then Strathyre Forest in 1972.

A series of six photographs of a small team of men planting on ploughing on a fairly hard stony exposed site - possibly in Allean Forest.



Location and men are unidentified – can anyone help? See attched PDF.

I think this is the same location as photo 1876 of ploughing. North Perthshire with Ben Vrackie the pyramidal peak in the distance and the rounded hills of Beinn a' Ghlo to the left (east)
The body of water I imagine is Loch Bhac or one of the other Allean lochans.
