This photograph was taken from the A826 Crieff road about two miles south of Aberfeldy. The house is Moness House (Now a large Country Club time share complex) The farm buildings were known as Croftness Farm now incorporated into the complex. Schiehallion peak is the mountain top right sky line. Best recollection is that the House is reputed to have been built in the 1760's and was owned by the family Flemyngs, lace and muslin manufacturers, (Flemmings modern). The house was used to billet evacuee school aged children 1939-45. There is no known forestry connection.
