Hostel lads in the forestry hostel, Strathyre

The lads look as though they are in the recreation room and well equipped with axes plus guitar. It was not unusual to take axes into your room or home at night to carry out a bit of major sharpening particularly if you were unfortunate enough to hit a stone anywhere in middle of the blade. It took many hours to grind out even a small chip.
