The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. George took many forestry photographs in his forestry career and many of those are now shown on this web site. Check under ‘Groups’ and George Dey Collection.

A large tour group consisting of members of the Royal Scottish, English, Welsh and Northern Ireland Forestry Societies tour the forests in North Scotland and now in Glen Affric where Richard Davie (Forest District Manager) welcomes the members at the Dog Falls car park. The PDF shows members viewing some fine Caledonian Scots pine and finally Richard Davie with Sandy Calder talk over some points watched by Tony Spencer.
This was the last stop on the tour.
