Retirement of Willie Patience and Hugh Morris

Culloden Forest District appear to have had a combined Christmas party, retirement presentations to Willie Patience and Hugh Morris and a leaving do for Ann Lewis who was moving to the Conservancy Office.
Here Graham Gill The newly installed Forest District Manager for Culloden Forest District is presenting Hugh Morris with his retirement gift. Hugh was a Head Forester who had transferred to the District but was involved in a serious traffic accident while on holiday and on his return to work and until his retirement worked on Conservancy land and property acquisition records.
More information on Hugh’s career would be very welcome. Brian Stanger (Insch)says 'Hugh Morris was in Affric which along with the Black Isle and Ardross formed Finlay Macrae's Dingwall District. Hugh transferred from Inchnacardoch to Affric about '76, following Jack Riddell's move. I was at Affric from Jan '77 to Sept '84. I think Hugh would have transferred to Inverness FD late '83 or early 84 following amalgamation of Affric into Fort Augustus FD'.
