Hand Planting and Draining Tool catalogue 1950
I remember the Forestry Commission tool catalogue as late as 1970s and the page on hand planting and draining tools had hardly changed. Chieftain Forge were one of the main suppliers and brought out their own catalogue. The blade of tool No12 was about knee height and it took a real 'man' to work it all day!
