Kabuto Digger working in Skye

This series of photographs continued in the attached PDF shows a smaller sized tracked Kabuto excavator which may have been brought in as an experiment in forest draining rather than using a tractor and plough or hand tools. It is very difficult to see from the photographs whether planting turfs are being laid out or not but this was a logical step in the future. The location appears to be written as Dearg but is unclear.
Can anyone confirm the location and name the driver?
