Apprenticeship Certificate Skilled Forest Worker

William spent two years on a Forestry Commission apprentice scheme in Strathyre Forest living in the hostel with about 16 other young lads who worked along side the local longer term forest workers.
The certificate has been granted following the two years working at various forestry tasks and successfully completing the apprenticeship. William remembers that of the young lads in the hostel about 9-10 were in the scheme.
The attached PDF shows the letter from West Conservancy Office in Renfrew Street, Glasgow which congratulated William on his achievement and enclosed the certificate signed by the Forestry Commission Secretary. Cannot make out the signature?
Also attached are the apprenticeship signing up documents signed in 1957 which appear extremely legalistic and formal and have a surprising amount of signatures.
