Ploughing tractors bogged at Lochans near Lairg 6

Angus Ross and Sandy Allison attach the cables to the first debogging tractor and with Rossie Ross's help from the Smalley set up more digger mats behind the machine. The aim with the short coupling to the bogged tractor is to help lift it up on to the surface rather that just drag it through the deep peat. Len Newman, Frank Thom and Andrew Scorgie set up the wire ropes to the main pulling winch on the next tractor.
