Former Forestry Students return to Benmore

The event was based around the Whistlefield Hotel where all were very well watered and dined. The weather was mixed but sun did shine at the critical times and the journeys to and from were in some excellent weather. The party consisted of former students who had attended Benmore Forester Training School in the years 1957 – 1965. Unfortunately Ken Ellis, Belfast, who had planned to come, was not able as he had an urgent but successful appointment with a surgeon.

Former student Ken Johnston (student 1960-62) and his wife (name?), who live in the locality, joined the group in the evenings.
