Cablecrane course Glengarry Forest — Alp Win

The Alp winch, manufactured by James Jones and Sons is set up in Glengarry Forest just above the A82 where it passes the old Nursery and Forestry Houses at Laggan.
As can be seen clearly the winch is manufactured as a separate trailer unit on its own travelling wheels and only relies on the tractor for power from the Power Take Off shaft. This is much more robust set up with a longer reach that the early Isachsen and Igland skyline winches.
In this case the cable crane course students are just observing the winch in action as it extracts whole trees from a very steep clearfell site. The whole trees are brought to the side of the road and then they are hauled away by a skidder for further processing.
Does anyone know who is operating this winch as it is powered by a Forestry Commission Fordson 4x4? Was this operated by Hugh Greig and Alan Macdonald?
