Possible RSFS Visit to Lochawe area circa 1955
The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. George took many forestry photographs in his forestry career and many are now shown on this web site. Check under ‘Groups’ and George Dey Collection.
This early shot on a lantern slide is thought to be of a RSFS visitation to the Lochawe area in 1955 but subject and year are not certain. There was an IUFRO tour and also a Forestry Commissioner’s tour to the locality in 1956 and 1957 respectively.
