Riddoch’s Kinnoir Sawmill 1975

The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. Check under ‘Groups’ and George Dey Collection.

A Volvo BM loader is refilling the ramp that leads to the saw bench in Riddoch of Rothiemay’s mill at Longmuir, Kinnoir. Over the top you can see two loaded lorries entering the yard and also to the right the chip wood walled enclosure. In the foreground is quite a heap of miscellaneous logs.
