Commonwealth Forester’s Conference

The Conference seems to have been based in Aberdeen courtesy of the University but travelled to various sites in the county. This fire hut or look out is named as Cairn Daimh at 569m elevation. Where is this?
Obviously the hut is not large enough to shelter everyone! Can anyone be named? See comments for names of John Matthews and Gunnar Godwin.

The man on the extreme left under the open window is Professor John Matthews. The guy looking this way, seven from left with folder under his arm is Gunnar Godwin. Former Conservator FC Aberdeen.
