Forest Nursery Tour - Newton

This one is Newton near Elgin which still operates as a forest nursery. forester on Culbin after gaining his degree at Aberdeen University then joined, I think what was known as Department of Woods as forester at Culbin & was there when the Goverment took over as the Forstery Commission. He became forester at Culbin in 1947 and retired in 1969. He died in Inverness in 1979 and is buried in Dyke churchyard Comment left on 23 February 2017 at 15:34 by Rob Milne
