Alastair - Forestry Clerk at Blackstand
Photograph courtesy of Brian Fletcher, Conon Bridge.
One of a series of photographs that Brian Fletcher, a former Ogilvie’s Haulage driver, took while driving around the country of people and Forestry staff. This photograph of man known to Brian as Alistair was a Forestry Clerk at Forestry Commission Blackstand office in the Black Isle. It is likely Alastair delivered the U3b conveyance notes to the lorry drivers for their loads of timber going to the mills.
Can anyone confirm Alistair’s full name and job title?

My father advises that it is Alistair Fraser, who was indeed the Forestry Clerk at Blackstand.
