Ogilvie’s independent loader at Kilcoy
Photograph courtesy of Brian Fletcher, Conon Bridge.
Brian recalls ‘This was an independent loader that toppled over because the Hiab was left up. It was on uneven ground it started to slew to the left and over it went. The driver’s son was in the cab at the time that it went over. You could barely see in the cab for smoke when I went in to get him and passed him out to his father, unhurt. He was about 4 or 5 years old and again no one was injured in this incident.’
