Photo courtesy of Ronnie Legge. Nick Webster from Spey Bay loads dug rock into the primary crusher that resizes the rock down to a maximum of 150mm which then feeds the cone crusher producing smaller sizes - in this case 25mm maximum for a new cycle path in Ben Aigan. The outfit in these conditions produced about 120 tonnes per hour. Note the crushers are both radio controlled and can be operated from the excavator cab to follow it as it digs forward.
