It may be of interest that HF Tom Galt`s wife (Jean) was one of the most nimble of cone collectors when they were at Slattadale. The collections were identified in the seed register and sown in the Black Isle nursery as I recall. A boat was brought up from Sunart to take the workers across. Tom`s successor MacPherson kept the boat as long as possible after collections for family picnics on the island. Comment left on 31 January 2013 at 12:26 by David Paterson
