Newton Rigg Farm School - Forestry Course 1963
This was either the first or second group of potential Forestry Commission forestry school students that had a 6 week induction to training, various sciences and mathematics at Newton Rigg Farm School in 1963. Probably the start of the switch from Forestry Commission Forestry School training to national colleges. The instruction and lectures were delivered by Mr Pyeman, Mr Robertson and Miss Balmain.
Memory has let me down on some of the names and would welcome all corrections and forgotten names.
