Former Timber Corps girls meet FC staff at Huntly

Four former wartime Timber Corps ladies meet up with four ladies who worked in the Forestry Commission Office at Buchan Forest District, Huntly in 1992. The Timber Corps ladies had worked locally in the forests of Aberdeenshire and Morayshire during the war (1942-46) and had been helping celebrate National Tree Week in Buchan Forest District where 40 trees were planted to mark the 40 years of the Queen’s reign.
