Tom and Elsie Bremner photographed at their son Ian’s wedding in 1964.

Tom lived in the No3 Forest Worker Holding, Bin Forest located at Roadburn. He took up employment as a trapper in Bin Forest and also tenancy of the FWH in 1935 and retired from there in 1974. Ian recalls that their neighbours Jimmy Chisholm & his family lived next door at No 4, Geordie Barrie lived at No1 and John Gault was in No 2.

My first neighbours!I have very fond memories of you mum and dad although I was very young at the time. My dad Jimmy Christie moved into no 4 in 1967 when Jimmy Chisholm emigrated to Australia. I was to young to remember them though. Comment left on 20 September 2011 at 18:49 by Andy Christie
